Listening to Sandie makes me feel like a teenager again.
Back in the 60s Sandie Shaw was one of my favourite artists, but, as with many things in life, she had slipped from my mind for many years. Recently there was a local festival and who should be performing but Sandie. Typical of my luck the timing was such that I would be on holiday in France during this concert, but the very mention of her name reawakened my awareness. I have most of her singles on vinyl, but mainly use CDs or my Ipod nowadays and so I thought I'd take a look at what was available by her in today's market. I bought 'The very Best of Sandie Shaw' brand new at a very silly price and waited for it to be delivered. Within a few days I was back in the sixties listening to so many brilliant tracks. I'm not one of these people who still tries to live in the sixties, ...
