A Good Film To Enjoy
This DVD movie is entertaining and great musical film of the 60's era. Good music and great performance to all the actors and guest musician groups. I recommend this DVD to my friends and family for a great time listening to music of the 60's.

Connie Francis Rocks last Movie
it was her last movie and i think the best of the 4 had Hermans Hermit's, sham The sham and a few other mid 60's stars. It's a rare movie now ,Used be on tv a lot.

A RE-MAKE THAT'S A REAL WINNER.
WHEN THE BOYS MEET THE GIRLS (1965) is a re-make of GIRL CRAZY (1943), and GIRL CRAZY (1932). The earliest with Wheeler and Woolsey (pre-code). The later with Judy and Mickey. Judy is replaced by Connie Francis, and Mickey replaced by Harve Presnell. The talents of the leads in both films, IMO, are about equal. The supporting cast is where the re-make really shines. From Peter Noone and Herma's Hermits, through Sam the Sham ad the Pharaoghs, Liberace, and Louis Armstrong all performing their specialties. Add to the musical specialty acts the fine supporting actors -- Fred Clark, Sue Anne Langdon, Fred Clark, Frank Faylen, and Joby Baker, among many others -- and you have a really rousing fun musical with some outstanding performances of songs by George and Ira Gershwin. Didn’t care for it.
It just wasn’t as good as Where The Boys Are…I didn’t care for it. There are appearances of singing groups from years ago. I bought because I love Connie Francis. Won’t watch it again.
