    Both "dated" and "current!"

    Movie is just as I remembered it years ago. It occasionally plays on cable, but nice to be able to watch when I'd like. Only problem is about half way through, it tends to "freeze" a few seconds at a few points during approximately a 2 minute period. I searched back - ran it through again and "freezes" same place every time. Past that point (as before) it plays fine I could not find any contaminate on the disc. It's not bothersome enough to return.

    Good example of Bakshi style.

    Not for kids--meant for adult knowledge and sensibility (and not because of rating.) Not deep and not great, but a good 90 minute diversion. Bakshi's animation, special handling of news photography and other-movie outtakes are quite interesting. My copy was withdrawn from a public library and had some variability of sound (volume), but the read surface was certainly clear enough.

    Another Grate movie by Ralph Bakshi

    Antoher great movie from Ralph Bakshi, this is just as good as his other movies Fritz the Cat, The Lord of the Rings, Heavy Traffic, Coonskin & American Pop to name a few. Although the sound track is a little hard to find especially on vinyl! but if you do find it, it's worth it as well, even though there is 1-2 pices missing, it's still nice to have.. The movie overall is Fantastic & it's a family movie Not like Fritz the Cat.
