    Finally got one to work

    This Ford labeled key was the only one that the locksmith could get to program the doors to lock/unlock. I bought 3 others generic looking ones and he could only cut them to open the vehicle and start it with the key only. Which is fine if you want a spare key just to use that way. This was the only one that he could get the remote to work with the doors so I'm glad I ordered it. Was priced a little higher, but if you want the remote functions to work I highly my recommend getting one that has the manufacturer's emblem on it

    Works as primary or backup key.

    Works as advertised, only issue for me is in my area because I bought off ebay. It took me a bit to find someone that would cut and program the key. However, I did find a local shop and has been working fine. Do recommend you find your local shop that will cut and program your key first. As I mentioned earlier even the Ford dealership gave me the "oh you didn't by the key from me" excuse to not cut and program.

    A great value...but ptogramming is required

    Everything about this remote head key fob is as good as the similar (VERY similar) key sold by the Ford dealer...with the exception of the Ford logo on the back. And a price five times higher. I would suggest that the listing for the fob could be a little more explicit concerning the need for professional programming to link the remote functions to your vehicle. Not a problem...but that wasn't clearly disclosed in the listing.
