      Excellent replacement for stock Gibson Junior type tuners, with a great thumbwheel system

      Excellent replacement for stock Gibson Junior type tuners, with a great thumbwheel locking system. The buttons on these are the same size and shape as those which came on my SG Junior, and the screw holes on the back of the tuners line up well with the original lower holes on the Gibson / Kluson tuners. You will have to fill the top holes with putty or a small dowel, or just leave them there, it's up to you. In terms of weight, performance, and similarity in look to the factory tuners these are the best option for Juniors and Melody Makers. These replaced Grover Rotomatic 106C tuners, which were heavy, chunky, and ugly, as well as the plain strings tending to slip as you tune up and the largest string size you could comfortably use being a 52. None of these issues with the Gotoh MGT ...
