A vivid,compelling and perceptive account of family life in the Veneto
Having read "Italian Ways" by Tim Parks I was keen to read more of us perceptive and amusing writing on living in Italy. I have not yet finished "An Italian Education it but found it equally compelling as "Italian Ways" - a great book to take on a train or on hoilday. Beautifully crafted prose and lovely anecdotes of 21st Century Italian life seen through an English prism.
