Will it fit your car?
This basically does what it says on the tin but there a a few issues to be aware of. Firstly the sliding arm is not restrained within the main body so can drop out if the lock is held upside down. This also makes it awkward to stow in the vehicle if you forget and end up with two separated parts. The upside of this is that the arm has a ratchet locking mechanism making it quick and easy to lock to the steering wheel. The lock itself looks solid enough but the key can be reluctant to engage sometimes making unlocking a bit frustrating. Maybe that will ease with use. Next the hooked ends are not large enough to fit around some modern thick rimmed steering wheels, check yours first. Lastly, and possibly most important if you have a modern motor, is that the straight design will not fit ... This basically does what it says on the tin but there a a few issues to be aware of. too small
The lock is well made and,for the price, excellent value. However, the unit's dimension's are too small and the lock will not fit easily onto the steering wheel as the circumference of a cross section of my steering wheel is virtually the same as the ''hook'' sections of the lock. Using it will damage leather cover of steering wheel

Modern version of the old Crook Lock but shorter
Too short when expanded, ok for most cars really too short for vans, needs locking when off the vehicle otherwise its in two parts. If line of site from bottom of steering wheel to clutch pedal is not a clear path you cannot fit it.

I had trouble getting the keys to open the lock, worked eventually, but was not a quick procedure, not what I want when locking my car at the end of a long evening.

Why you should not buy this!
It jammed the second time I used it but after I had given good feedback. It is cheap and flimsy and the second time I used it the key jammed. Beware!
