70's Cult-classic still sounds great
Spectres is possibly the band's finest and most coherent long player. The good writing, singing and playing still shine through on this late-70s treasure which features a healthy quota of superb lead vocals from guitarist, Buck Dharma. I needed this CD as a companion to BOCs essential compilation, "Workshop of the Telescopes" as it contains some minor-classics omitted from the best-of double CD. Standout cuts include :- "Death Valley Nights" "Searchin' For Celine" "I Love The Night" "Nosferatu"Spectres is possibly the band's finest and most coherent long player. Slightly improved sound
Spectres is an extremely well balanced album with a huge variety of tunes. Hard rock, soft rock, slow songs, fast songs, everything is on this album. Recommended.
