Just as comfortable as lazy-boy style.
Looks very good. The wooden legs make it look more expensive and give an overall lighter effect. Construction took me about an hour in total. The footstool has those nice hinges they use in kitchen cupboards and IKEA (but already fitted here). To assemble - you need 2 size of Allen key (provided with the instructions in the footstool) and Philips head screwdriver. The only "slightly skilful" part of assembly is lining up the base's cylinder with the multiple holes in the chair frame. I can't really see how one could adjust the height (as some advertise up to 9cm) - maybe by swapping footstool and chair bases? But, for me, the heights are fine. I am 6foot (183cm) and about 17stone (106kg?) and I find it exceptionally comfortable. I have fallen asleep, with my feet up, several times. The ... Looks very good. The material isn't leather but, surprisingly, DOESN'T have that clingy, clammy feeling of plastic/faux that one gets with prolonged sitting. I actually think this is better than lazy-boy (manual) style. Because this has more variable reclining positions than a (non electric) lazy-boy. Plus the footstool and its storage space are a bonus. Unlike a lazy-boy, this is easy to move around, plus it rotates. So; getting up and out is as simple as Remove legs from stool, swing chair round a bit, pull chair arms toward you as you stand. I have had mechanical lazy-boy and this. Lazy-boy looks like it is the ultimate luxury. It's not (note I refer to nonelectric) This - for the money - is. I paid less than £140 for mine - delivered. I would not pay more than £170 on eBay.

As good as it looks
Ordered this as it looked great and very reasonable cost. Took only 20 minutes to assemble and is as comfortable as it looks. Reclining function is great as base extends forwards as you recline, its not simply a pivoting backrest. Chair has very comfortable padding and as long as it is durable I will be very happy with this chair Footstool has useful storage area and is perfect height
