    War of the Worlds. A Must have musical.

    I have had the vinyl version since 1978 but never got round to buying the C.D. version. Still as amazing after all these years and the copy i received was in superb condition Crystal case and C.D.'s were spotless and the sleeve notes booklet doesn't even have finger print's on it. Simply a musical that should be in everyone' s collection and at the E-Bay prices that is easily achievable.

    War of the Worlds CD - just a wonderful mix of music, drama and speech.

    Just love the music from Jeff Wayne's - War of the Worlds. Also love David Essex's voice and of course Justin Hayward (he lived about three quarters of a mile from me when we were all growing up) but I think how lucky we all were to be around in the famous sixties and experience all the musical talent then. Justin Hayward is a great singer/songwriter/musician and I love to hear the Forever Autumn track on this CD AND then what about the spectacular speaking voice of narrator Richard Burton - gives me goosebumps each time I hear him! I have just put it on again to listen to whilst I am typing this - yes a lovely lovely piece.
