    Very well made fits my Emco Unimat 3 and 4 lathes perfectly

    I bought one of these face plates for a very small drill press project that I was working on thinking that the quality would not be up to "Emco standard" but when this item arrived in the post (4 working days after I purchased it from RDG Tools on eBay), I was pleasantly surprised to see that this item is made to a very high standard and that it is just as good if not better than the original Emco product as this is proper cast iron and not aluminium. Well, I decided to sand cast the part (table) that I needed for my drill press project from aluminium which came out very well and I decided to keep this great face plate with all my Emco stuff as it is too good to ruin and my prove very useful one day ! I fitted this face plate to my Unimat 3 lathe and also my Unimat 4 lathe and it ...

    Great source for Pultra lathe accessories

    The arbor was ground precisely to 10 mm so I needed to lap it to fit my Pultra Lathe The parallel part of the arbor should be slightly less than 10 mm All the arbors that I bought from this sight needed to be lapped to fit I suggest that these arbors should be manufactured with the parallel section 9.97 mm as this does not affect the precision I was still very happy to purchase these items

    Pultra CF31 drive plate

    The drive plate was less worn than expected - but this is a relatively rarely used accessory anyway. I will be using it in due course for its intended purposebut the immediate use is to compare the manufacturers dimensions against 'after market' items for accuracy (or lack....) in the newer parts.
