Additional Information

A thrill-seeking hunter (Brown) brings his son Harry along on an expedition to capture a grizzly bear. With Indian tracker (Jackson) and jaded hunting colleague (Tobias) in tow, it isn't long before they seize a pair of cubs. Upon finding her kids tied-up and caged, the mother bear in turn abducts young Harry. While the hunting party conducts their search, the boy manages to forge a trusting alliance with the beast. However, it isn't long before they're discovered, and a misunderstanding leads to a brutal battle. When father and son rally to help the bear, they discover how much they really care for each other.

grizzly falls
a bit slow at first, then i was glued to the seat, the story was about a man telling his grandchilren about the story when he was growing up and becoming great friends with a bear,the boys father took 2 bear cubs away from it's mother and the bear took the the young boy in exchange for her cubs,the mother bear feeds hims grubs and the boy cooks the bear fish which makes the bear fart,the boy ends in the river and the bear treats him like her own, a very happy ending film well worth buying,a bit slow at first, then i was glued to the seat, the story was about a man telling his grandchilren about the story when he was growing up and becoming great friends with a bear,the boys father took 2 bear cubs away from it's mother and the bear took the the young boy in exchange for her cubs,the mother bear feeds hims grubs and the boy cooks the bear fish which makes the bear fart,the boy ends in the river and the bear treats him like her own, a very happy ending film well worth buying,

An excellent story of a boys survival with a mother grizzly bear. Wonderfully filmed and not swamped by background music. The film begins with an old man (Richard Harris) telling his grandchildren about how when he was a lad he was taken by a grizzly bear who treated him as her cub after her 2 were captured by his father and his hunting party. The story shows both the boys relationship building with the grizzly and his fathers desperate hunt to track and find his son.
