Great product and an improvement on other versions.
I've had vacuum scottoilers before and this version is so easy to fit, it took longer to work out where and how to mount it to the bike as space was limited and under the seat was already used. Had to add a piece of tubing mounted the the frame with p-clips Even though it's a refurbished model you can't tell the difference from a brand new one, plus it saves some money from the retail price so more of a bargain. The unit differs in that it doesn't feed the oil when stationary and adjusting the flow is a simple process. Easy to install chain oiler on a BMW S1000XR
Kit comes complete with enough hose and fittings to easily fit onto a BMW S1000XR. The reservoir fitted onto side of rear subframe and is wired direct to battery under the seat. The oil feed pipe has to be routed down onto swingarm and out to rear sprocket. There's not a lot of room to feed pipe around swingarm pivot so you need small hands. There's additional install help on Scottoiler website. Its easy to adjust the oil flow with the press of the control buttons. Definitely worth fitting compared to manually oiling your chain. Great product
The x-system is really easy to install and I much prefer the direct connection to the battery rather than cutting into vacuum pipes. The reservoir fits neatly under the seat and as it fits onto a cradle it easy easy to remove and replace when filling the reservoir. Flow rate can be adjusted for riding style and got an optimum after a couple of trips, now there is almost no throw from the chain keeping the rear wheel much cleaner. New chain and sprockets still look clean and as good as after 500 miles in all weather. The system goes to sleep after a delay when the bike is stationary and there is still flow until it does so. You can also turn it off completely if the bike is not being used.
