    BEST HANDLAMP

    This handlamp is exactly what l was looking for. I have tried magnetic LED lights, wind up torches, handlamps from a nationwide DIY Store and headlights. They all have something going for them but l prefer this one, from the type of bulb it uses, to the length of the lead; to the hook for hanging it up, to the on/off switch and last but not least the shield that directs the light where it is needed.

    OK for light occasional use

    Arrived quickly.. And first impressions were it's OK for the price.. Stopped working after couple of days use working on the car... Managed to fix it by replacing the cable with a more robust one.. Works fine now.. If you want it for fairly light occasional use then get one.. But not robust enough for daily workshop use.. But to be fair for the money its fair enough..

    Very useful light

    This was purchased for use in the loft. I have fitted it with a bright led bulb and it gives excellent light. As it has a hook it can be hung onto any suitable protrusion. I have used this type of light before to provide illumination when working on a car engine and as an additional light outdoors. A very useful addition to my tool collection.

    Good for the price

    There are some unfair reviews of this product. I bought 3 to hang in my loft connected to a power extension at the hatch to save getting lights wired in and they work great. For a few quid these do the job nicely. Would I expect them to last more than a few weeks getting hammered in a tradesmans shop? No. For casual use they are excellent for the price.

    lightweight and works fine

    light weight inspection lamp, it is very good but the hook could be 180 deg in opposite direction as it tens to shine the light away from the object you are trying to work on.
