I got this very cheaply from eBay... seen it in a few places but seeing that I could get it for approx. £5.50 total, I thought I'd take a chance... and I'm glad I did - a very good DVD actually! Running time 98 minutes, the DVD is split into three 'groups': country birds, urban birds and coastal birds. Here's some info... "This informative guide to birds of the British Isles includes all the familiar birds that we see everyday, to the rarest that are seldom seen. This programme is an ideal guide for youngsters learning to identify birds, experienced birdwatchers or anyone with a bird table who enjoys watching their antics from the comfort of an armchair. Special menus highlight various facts about each of the 72 birds featured from diet and ... I got this very cheaply from eBay... seen it in a few places but seeing that I could get it for approx. £5.50 total, I thought I'd take a chance... and I'm glad I did - a very good DVD actually! Running time 98 minutes, the DVD is split into three 'groups': country birds, urban birds and coastal birds. Here's some info... The narration appears a little 'hurried' at times but that's not a problem - it ensures that each bird gets enough 'vocal cover' to go along with the film footage, which although varying in quality is generally very good - great for identification purposes which is the whole point of the DVD in the first place. Very good DVD for beginners and as a point of reference for Birders.I liked the Dvd it was well presented and the camera work left you in no doubt to the species ident. I bought it for a friend for Chistmas and he enjoyed it very much.
