Injector gaskets aren’t all the same
At £1 each these may seem pricey, but there are times when it’s best to fork out. You don’t want to revisit injectors after installing them so avoiding leaks here is good. Focus on cleaning the seat area, and using the right gasket with ceramic grease. These gaskets grip the nozzle as they have small stubs on the inner face of the hole. This also centres them and ensures that they crush cleanly. Cheap all purpose crush washers just don’t do it. At £1 each these may seem pricey, but there are times when it’s best to fork out.
