Thoroughly Enjoyable. Not a Marilyn Monroe Movie as the cover suggests
A Classic Screw Ball comedy featuring Cary Grant, Ginger Rogers and Marilyn Monroe. Although the product includes Marlyn Monroe on the cover, this is not really an accurate portrayal as the movie at bests has her in less than a supporting capacity - this being one of her earlier movies. The other interesting fact that caught my eye was the ravingg for a drug to turn young again - coming as the movie does post World War II, which gives an accurate portraysl of society in those days. Was there a craving to recapture ones lost youth for a generation ravaged by the vicissitudes of war? Could this in turn have led to the gradual demise of the old society and laid the foundation for more liberal attitudes of the day? Could this have inturn fuelled emancipation and the rise of the baby ... A Classic Screw Ball comedy featuring Cary Grant, Ginger Rogers and Marilyn Monroe. Monkey Business
Screwball 1952 comedy about a scientist trying to invent a rejuvenating drug. Some wonderful comic scenes and a superb cast - Cary Grant, Ginger Rogers, Marilyn Monroe in an early role, and the redoubtable Charles Coburn. Great family entertainment.

Watched this when my daughter was little had it on VHS decided as a surprise now she is an adult i would get it on DVD she "loved it " this brings many good memories for us, so it was well worth it
