    If anything the record was under-described. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived, not just because it was well packaged and shrink wrapped, it is a deluxe gatefold edition, 180 gram. The cherry on the cake was the seller offered a 10% reduction on the listed price. I paid £13.61 and the postage was free. I don't leave a review until I have played a record through.     Essential live album.

    An excellent live album from one of Britain's greatest bands. There is a good selection of songs from both older and newer albums. Two songs were actually originally on Peter Hammill's solo albums. Of course, Hammill's solo albums were often virtually indistinguishable from VDGG records as the rest of the band usually provided backing. This album is particularly notable for containing a recording of the first, full live performance of "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers".

    Excellent trio performance

    A great performance by the reformed VDGG trio - the distinctive warm sax of David Jackson is missed, but each of the others really excel on this live album.
