Zelda never gets old
I'm a grown woman with a teenage son and honestly, I fight to have my turn. I know each Zelda game has its own vibe and style. This one is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of playing zelda on my ds. There are loads of puzzles and yes, I still panic on the boss fights and have to either pause to remember to breathe, or call in my son and he tells me how to beat it or, worse case scenario, fights it for me. Cute graphics, but lots of slowdown
The graphics are fun and the gameplay is nicely reminiscent of old Gameboy games from the Zelda series. However, it can't be ignored that the performance during handheld gameplay is atrocious. Very frequent slowdown, to the point of about 15 FPS. There is no excuse for such an issue from a Nintendo 1st-party game. If Breath of the Wild can run flawlessly, why can't this? The game is still playable, but much more enjoyable in docked mode, which defeats the purpose of having a Gameboy game remade for the Switch. Unless you really need to play every Zelda game, give this one a miss. The graphics are fun and the gameplay is nicely reminiscent of old Gameboy games from the Zelda series. Link's Awakening is a Zelda classic game that is still going to be just as exciting, amazing, compelling and fantastic a hundred years from now! You do make friends with the characters, fulfil little assignments, resolve puzzles, do some shopping, cut a lot of grass and earn lots of rupees! Such an enjoyable and clever game! It was our family's first game ever on the Gameboy and now we have it on the switch with all its charm intact! 5 stars out of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!Link's Awakening is a Zelda classic game that is still going to be just as exciting, amazing, compelling and fantastic a hundred years from now! Zelda links awakening : switch
Another zelda classic. So happy that has made the switch. Not a main zelda title game like botw, ocarina of time, twilight Princess or wind waker. But we'll worth a go specially if you're a zelda fan. Some people that are new to the series from the botw may well not appreciate it as much though
