Good fun but best to read the book!
I brought this DVD as I'd read and loved the book. The film was pretty manic trying to cram everything in- I'm glad I'd read the book first as I may have been lost trying to watch film alone. Rob Lowe and Jodie Foster are perfect as John and Franny though some of the more subtle and engaging parts of the book were left out. Worth a watch if you liked the book but don't hold out for anything amazing and it's probably best avoided unless you're a fan of Jodie Foster or a very scary looking young Seth Green.I brought this DVD as I'd read and loved the book.
