Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. I do wish they had real pictures of the MacBook so I could see where the minor scratches were. Their customer support was also brilliant and they respond very quickly; they also offer a 30-day return in case you change your mind.
