  • Vulcan, God of Fire

An incredible story of an incredible plane. Story starts with the need for a British nuclear deterrent and house the three V-Bombers came into being, and their changing role after the U2 spy plane piloted by Gary Powers was shot down over the USSR. The story of how the Black Buck Falklands raids were planned and carried out was grippng reading! A triumph of British engineering, planning and determination!

  • Well worth the read

Brilliant book about an iconic piece of British aviation history. For a non-fiction book it is quite compelling and the photos are excellent.
