    On first impressions opening the box, this does seem a very well made belt sander for the money, I fitted a course sanding belt and switched machine on pulled trigger switch to align the belt first. This was very easy to do by turning the belt tracking adjustment knob very slightly in either direction so the belt runs straight, tried it out on rough pallet wood and within a few seconds wood was smooth, I would recommend & great deal with 20 free belts too.

    Solid piece of kit

    Solid piece of kit, good selection of sandpaper. I’ve been using it up scaffolding to roughly sand down exterior planking that needed a fresh coat of paint. Would recommend setting it up (so the sandpaper runs correctly and doesn’t go off to one side) before you start.

    Basic for light use

    The belt mechanism is not a great design. The belts are hard to adjust and either come off or in my case cut into the plastic body where the motor is. The belt has cut an outline in the plastic body and I expect it will fall apart in the future as a result. When the belt digs into the plastic it's pretty hard to get it out which wasted 5 mins whenever it happens - sometimes every few minutes... The dust extraction bag stopped working within 20 minutes. It now inflates but no dust is collected. OK for light use. If you have a lot to do spend the money on a better one.
