This book is a stunning collection of beautiful photographs. Accompanied by written details, both factual and quirky, it highlights many of the species that live in our island home. It's not a comprehensive, all inclusive, book, but it is a very clear and easily read book. The photography alone is a pleasure to leaf through. I would happily buy another copy to give as a present to someone interested in the natural world around us.This book is a stunning collection of beautiful photographs. Accompanied by written details, both factual and quirky, it highlights many of the species that live in our island home. It's not a comprehensive, all inclusive, book, but it is a very clear and easily read book. The photography alone is a pleasure to leaf through. I would happily buy another copy to give as a present to someone interested in the natural world around us.
