    Quality gear cables at a good price.

    The cable is easy to work with although some good wire cutters are essential of course.The cable set was plenty long enough for my bike and would be for any one else’s bike.I would certainly recommend to anyone buying new gear cables to get a set.

    Perfect cable replacement.

    Ok. So if you're a regular cyclist. You'll know that occasionally you're going to have to replace your cables. Especially if you flick through the gears a lot. These cables are a good replacement for them. They can be used for the rear or front derailleurs. As always. Be careful when feeding them through the outer cover. Because even with the best will in the world. The cable will split if you're not careful with it. Although if that happens you can sometimes put a cable tie over it, pull it tight and wind it up in the direction of the cable until the end. To get the cable to re thread.

    Shimano Genuine Parts

    This is a replacement product, and a genuine part (always a good option). It is extremely good value, and very good quality (as to be expected). I fitted new levers (and cables) and messed-up the gear cables. These are to replace those, so not a disaster after all. Highly recommended, on quality alone, just be careful to follow any online instruction, and don't cut the ends until you're sure of the required length...duh!

    Easy to fit, smooth gear changes again.

    I had to remake a gear cable that was in several parts e.g. two separate outer sections on a Specialized bike. This kit worked really well. Easy to cut the outer cable sections and thread it all through. Gear changes are now very smooth again. Great value too.

    Smooth gear changes

    Good quality cables at a reasonable price. My rear mech cable had got to the point where gear selection was slow, stiff and sometimes non existent. A new Shimano cable, inner and outer, cured all of the previous problems and I have a nice smooth and quick change once again.
