I used it on my 2013 Skoda Citigo, following PJs projects video on YouTube. This kit includes a red wire which needs to go to the fusebox (next to the accelerator pedal. You'll probably need some plastic pry tools, a fuse splitter and 10A fuse (mini size I think), a multimeter to test the fuse box and a Torx screwdriver. I used this with a JVC KD-X351BT.
