This was highlighted at recent GP reading, where a large cuff was 'not available', reading was taken with a cuff which was obviously too tight and was extremely painful, resulting in bruising and a false 'high' reading. I was asked to take readings at home, once a loan machine and cuff were available. After much researching, I purchased this Cuff
