This took a long time to arrive, about 10 days in all. The seller was very helpful when I queried this and responded quickly to my enquiries. The quality of the product was disappointing. There were no marks to indicate where the screws should go, so it took ages to assemble. A couple of the wooden parts were also split. ( See photos). Overall, quite disappointing.

Obelisk framework is made from flimsy wood, like kindling. crack across 1 leg and split down another. Buyer not really overly helpful especially with cost of my posting it back, was told they only pay postage if item was faulty which it was but they did not offer this despite the pics I'd sent to them. I managed to get money refunded for the item and postage as I'd opened up a dispute with PayPal as I'd paid via PayPal.

Quite easy to assemble with electric screwdriver
I am quite pleased with the obelisk, it is what i expected. Could be a little sturdier, although I haven't fixed it into the ground yet, but have painted it a lovely blue colour. Hoping my climbing rose will like it!!

obelisk was reasonably easy to assemble although it was quite tricky to get the screws tightened at the pointed end as you had to get inside the frame, but with patience it all came together. It is very rustic and very effective to look at but the wood is slightly split in places due to drying out of wood. Overall fair quality for the price and I would buy a 4th one if needed. Not bad in the end, but problems along the way
This is not a bad product, it was fairly easy to assemble, but fitting the top finial was a bit fiddly and the screws made it split, I used some slightly longer screws and made it work. One of the pieces of wood arrived broken but it was easier to make a replacement than send it back for a replacement. It’s also very light weight which makes me think the wood may not last in an outdoor environment. All wood is predrilled and shaped to fit together.This is not a bad product, it was fairly easy to assemble, but fitting the top finial was a bit fiddly and the screws made it split, I used some slightly longer screws and made it work. Lovely obelisk
This is a lovely obelisk which I painted grey to tie in with the garden. The only criticism are the instructions which appear clear until you use them. I put it back to front and inside out but when eventually I did it correctly I was pleased.

Disappointing
I was so looking forward to receiving this item to add some architectural interest to my rose bed. How disappointed I was when I took it out of the box. I had specifically ordered a sage green one so that I wouldn't have to paint it. The covering of paint is minimal - just a wash over the original wood. I had to paint it The bolts required to attach the top and bottom (which do not show on the photograph of the item) were brass and really ugly. My husband has replaced them with dowels.
