Book in good condition as described (the package was damaged in shipment and looks like someone cut it with a sharp blade. Only missing a piece off back corner and top corner of last 2 pages - not seller’s fault!) I am very pleased with my purchase - great price, smooth transaction, great communication and fast ship. Recommend this seller to all. Thank you!

A very sad story, but an excellent account of the holocaust. A book I would recommend others to read, particularly since antisemitism is quickly rising in the USA, and around the world. It should be a must read in schools! The transaction was smooth. The book arrived quickly, came as described. and was securely packed. Also, very reasonably priced! Would definitely buy from this seller again! Highly recommend!

  • Math In A Story!

This book is an excellent book because it not only shares the moral of pride can be risky--it uses the basis of a math equation in the story. The king is too proud to admit he doesn't understand how much rice a wise man requested. He asks for one grain of rice for one square of the chessboard and doubled each square after that. It ends up being way more rice than the king can figure. It is a clever way to teach people the power of numbers.

  • The King's Chessboard

I used this book in science class leading up to our study of population growth. Even though my audience was high school freshmen, they still love being read to. It blew their minds how quickly numbers increase when just one of anything is doubled each day.
