This device is sold as a power supply controller/panel, but it's features make it ideal as a battery charger or charge controller for solar cells and similar battery backup systems. I got one for each use. It is limited as a current source, so small to medium sized batteries would be best. If it's reliable over time (I just got it) I'd give it 6 stars. Don't overlook this for low amp charger use.
