With a thorough introduction, an essay by the distinguished scholar Richard Shiff, and interviews with the artist and master print makers, this classic study will stand as the definitive reference on Close's print practice for years to come. AUTHOR: Terry Sultan is Director of the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, New York. She has authored numerous exhibition catalogues as well as articles for such publications as Art in America, Art on Paper, and Ms. magazine. Richard Shiff holds the Effie Marie Cain Regents Chair in Art and directs the Center for the Study of Modernism at the University of Texas at Austin. My book was extremely well protected (with packaging that is easily recycled and used again), I may add.
