Timex Expedition; Excellent Watch
These are excellent watches, and I am very fond of them. I have one attached to my motorcycle gloves using a "NATO" Army watch strap, and it works in all weathers. The light feature is useful when camping, or in the still small hours when you want to check the time without disturbing your partner. I have one I use for my work, where their is a strong chance a lesser watch would be damaged. Had one strap fail at the clasp, but as I have already said, a NATO straps is an easy resolution. I have friends who delight in showing off expensive watches, these Timex Expedition timepieces are the perfect antidote. All in all, a very cool inexpensive Watch.These are excellent watches, and I am very fond of them. Simple rugged watch for work.
Good basic watch; direct replacement for same model. Last one well-travelled, gave 19 years sterling service needing nothing more than replacement batteries and straps. Replacement due to winder being knocked off while working on car, this updated version has better winder protection so will probably last longer than me!

Oddly enough I have been watch mad for years and have many so called superior brands such as Rolex and Vacheron Constantin etc For practicality and stylishness and all round ruggedness my Timex Expedition is a great great buy. Exceptional value for money too! It amuses me greatly whenever I bump into one of my watch snob friends who stand aghast open mouthed when they see me wearing a Timex. The Indiglo feature is a belter too. My only tiny gripe is that the date window is a smidge too small. But fr all round value,style and functionality the Timex Expedition simply is outstanding. Easy to read in all conditions
Cracking watch for the money. Seems ruggedly made enough for most conditions. Very easy to read face and the "indiglo" feature is excellent. No idea on longevity at this stage but impressive first impressions for the money.

Nice beater watch, terrible strap
This is a good buy. The watch itself looks nice and seems sturdy. Indiglo is great. However, the strap is extremely stiff and very uncomfortable. I changed it right away with a nato strap i had lying around. At the price I don't mind too much but I'm sure many others will feel the same way about the strap.
