I nearly sent it back because it wasn’t stripping very well out of the box, but decided to have a deeper look instead, ready to persevere with modifications if necessary. On closer inspection I just had to tighten down to the stop blocks and really tension the springs to the point where the cables would be gripped, just short of them not getting pulled in at all. After that the stripping worked a treat. It’s a good bit of kit for the price.
