    Fabulous for the price and the functionality

    It is quite a bit better than I expected. It has so many compartments that sometimes you have to search carefully twice MORE & reach deep to find what you put in there. You cannot completely fill all the compartments, as they will interfere with each other if you try. I checked "yes" for "...protect well" as it does keep out rain (but not a monsoon...), and a laptop is reasonably insulated (depending upon how violent an impact is involved); so there are limits... Similarly, it seems to wear very well with due care, so it is "durable" in that sense. If complicated, tech oriented, and quite functional means stylish to you, then you'll be happy with me rating it as stylish. For the $25 price, I bought 2 and am very happy with them.

    Great value product. Second to none.

    You will not find the same features in another backpack at this price. I had bought this quickly due to the price, because I needed one right away since my old one broke, and was going to get a better one. There isn't a better one. It has a lot of separate openings for different items that even the more expensive ones don't have. It's comfortable to wear as well, and light. I'm not looking for another backpack anymore. This is it. Unless you want a real crappy backpack that costs twice as much, because of a logo?

    tight fit

    This would be great for a 15 inch laptop, but a 17 inch laptop is a little to snug. It still works but you must spend an extra time and effort getting it in the backpack. As for the durability, I answered no because it wouldn't give a choice other than yes or no, which is unknown to me because I have not used it much yet.

    Stylish, Comfortable and Versitile

    I own a rather expensive carry-on which was great for a 15" laptop. Then I purchased a 17" laptop and the bag became useless. THIS great backpack is far more convenient, carries more items having large, deep pockets and accepts my 17" without any fuss at all. This was an excellent decision.
