it may seem a bit pricey for just a thin piece of metal but actually it's been cut to exactly the right size and fits perfectly. Holds the bar securely. I used a bit of assembly paste on the inner surface to ensure good grip.Very happy that I can use 26mm bars in my Cinelli 1A 26.4 stem.
