intense combat
Iron Soldier is a rather crude console mech game, but great. It is almost as simple as (console) Doom, and basically a First Person Shooter, yet completely different. Instead of trying to get to the end, you complete missions such as destroy all buildings (you can, including by punching them or chainsaw) or protecting a convoy from all attackers.. difficult but satisfying. Combat is fierce and extended, up to 45 min. of constant destruction per mission, with tricky and heavy enemy attacks. You will not progress without learning to manuever fairly well, and that's on easy. This is not a fast type of mech, and there is no sidestep. Instead you must pivot like a tank to fire if you want/need to move in a different direction from where your weapons are pointing. Fortunately, this can be ... Fortunately, this can be turned off when it's time to panic and just go. I didn't get directions and this was hard to figure out. START enables Advanced Controls. Then you have to push a button and use the D-pad to turn while still walking the same. You can also use dual analog but that works different and is a bit weird. Mech configuration is limited to having to choose a limited number of the weapons, once there are enough you can't take all of them on a mission, plus 2 alternative non-IS mechs, fast but simplistic. The first 2 games were on the Atari Jaguar and also good for that technology level. Graphics are low-res but have long view and smooth framerate, environments flat(-ish) but large and open.

Make it more clear
I'm happy with the game but you need to make it more clear that it doesn't come with the Box and instructions four people like morons like me who didn't see it I never would have bought it I would have paid more for a box and instructions I will still buy from you as long as I read the instructions better and you make it more clear I was happy with the prices I'll give you that
