So far = really pleased with the product. I purchased the stand it fits on also by Evolution. Whilst erecting the saw to fit on the stand I read the instructions supplied. This tells you to remove the existing screws attached to the saw and save for later. It didn't have any fitted. The stand however does come supplied with a set of bolts complete with butterfly nuts. I tried to attach these and found them extremely fiddly and absolutely not use at all in tightening down the unit to the stand cradle. I ended up binning these and using a set of nuts and bolts of my own. I will add that the instructions are a nightmare to read. Nothing pictured on the same pages as you're reading. There is an idiot guide supplied but they are really vague. I set the unit to the widest width point and tightened it securely. I won't be able to re-set the unit to a narrower cut position without a faff but I'm no too bothered about that. Top tip - If you do as I did and use your own bolts.. Tighten the front nuts by the adjustable clamps first. (to nearly fully tight). Then "pursuade" using a hammer and wooden block to knock the unit forward so you can tighten the rear nuts to the max. I love the slow start and quick brake on this unit. My Mrs can use it with ease. I've not had any issue with the laser line. It's not the brightest in sunlight but I only used it outside to test it and could see it well enough. My only grip is the carry handles. It's a heafty beast and the handles are not made for fingers unless you have three fat square ones. Totally rubbish. Again I'm unlikely to be hefting it around often so I can live with that too. On the whole I can't wait to build my new shed using this bit of kit.Read full review

Once assembled, cut straight and true 1st time. Didnt even need aligning (i did check). I only have a few issues. 1. The laser guide line is about 2mm from the edge of the blade. 2. The multi material blade leaves quite a bit of tear out on the back side of the wood. 3. The assembly instructions are not 100% clear. 4. The rear nut was on so tight that i was unable to change the angle for bevels. Fortunately, all but 1 were easily fixed. I replaced the blade with an 80 tooth blade, now it cuts beautifully. A small modicom of common sense over comes the instruction issues. I loosened the nut at the back so it pivots. All in all, a bloody good piece of kit that i would happily recomment to anyone who asks. Fortunately

The saw did come in more parts then I thought but with the instructions was straight forward to put together. It works a treat and is easy to use even all the tilts and swivels. I would highly recommend this product
