      Curly Girls, Unite!

      Amazing book about how to take care of curly hair. Super curly or just lovely wavy, it's all in here. I constantly receive compliments on my hair since beginning this method 8 years ago. Truly, it is a wonderful reference for those with this type of hair, or for parents of children with curly hair. One caveat - there are a couple of testimonials that refer to adult situations (a lover, or an affair, something like that) that I wouldn't want my tween to read, so if you are a parent, read the book first and make your own decision. Aside from that, it's all good!

      From dry and frizzy to curly girl

      My hair was so dry and frizzy. I have some gray hair on the top that I call my skunk patch and it is crazy so I had to try something different. The book only took a couple of hours to read through because you don't have to read the whole thing, only the parts that have to do with your hair type, issues, etc. I started the program right-a-way and my hair and curls have definitely improved and look healthier. I have a big swirly gray and brown curl that dangles on my forehead. I'm still trying to find someone who can cut my hair the curly-girl way and then I will see the full results. I liked it so much, that I purchased two more book and put together a starter kit for two curly-haired friends of mine who are both excited about seeing what it will do for their hair.
