Weighty Long-handle Axe
Yes, this has a heavy head, one side your axe, the other a mallet. I knew this was good the second I picked it up and was able to use the mallet side to dislodge a big wood grenade that my old sledghammer couldn't budge in 8 days, and this tool did it in maybe 3 strikes, pow! The axe is sharp too. My previous axe is still new but not as good. I can now split the logs for my woodburner in quick time. Only drawback with swinging this long-handle is that my shoulders ache, but that may be because I'm 5ft 3ins and only used to that lightweight sledgehammer and a dull short axe. I'm happy with this great tool now in my arsenal, and am sure you'll love it too. Blunt axe
It is a good quality axe but when it comes it is blunt. And I mean blunt I had to sharpen it. It was just bouncing off the logs. Even my old axe with a broken handle was still going straight through the logs. Would I recommend it to be honest no.
