Super fast delivery, well packaged and a really good product, value for money. Thank you. I have barbequed for 40+ years and decent lumpwood charcoal is essential. When used with dry hardwoods such as beech or oak works best for me.I bought lumpwood charcoal from a large retail chain and it was mixed, made from treated wood salvaged from pallets-you can tell by the weird colour but CPL charcoal is a great product.

    Great charcoal for a smoker

    I’ve tried several different types but so far this is the best whilst not as easy to light as cheap standard grade it doesn’t burn up and kept a good consistent heat for the five hours my smoker was running

    Perfect for camping

    Great product I havn't used charcoal with such a low amount of dust before, I've only bought from petrol stations and supermarkets in the past. Since I like to split the bag to take smaller amounts camping it is perfect for my needs' the lower dust content means I don't get so dirty setting up my BBQ.

    Quality Lumpwood For Grilling

    Quality lumpwood that lights fast and burns really hot. First cook was to grill steaks so wanted it hot but these were hotter than any wood I’ve ever seen. My thermostat went actually went past the max reading of 370 degrees. Perfect for steaks. Only issue has been for longer smoking cooks, where I usually get 7 hours or more from one batch of coals. These die out easily if wanting to smoke consistently at 125 degrees. You have to watched them closely.
