The rod was poorly packaged and not labelled fragile. It was delivered broken. The seller took two days to reply to messages. When posted and sent confirmation I received a reply within an hour. Seller received the item via parcel force and says later I have still not received my refund. I would not recommend to ebayers. I am a long term user and this is poor and unsatisfactory.

Exactly as described, well pleased about the item .. however received from Courier with one end of the bag cut open exposing the box inside .. would seriously doubt it left the seller in this condition, also looked like the inner box had been re-sellotaped back up .. would suggest a rethink on using this Courier again (ps: the driver who delivered it was very apologetic, but it wasn't his fault, probably happened at the distribution depot)

The Stanley "Fat Max" professional glue gun.
Having previously owned, and used, much cheaper glue guns of this general type I was immediately impressed by the quality of this product. In application it is more positive than the ones I have used before and, even with the standard tip, is much more precise. I haven't used it on any precision work yet, but I get the feeling that it would be possible to do so. Another advantage of the Stanley "Fat Max" glue gun is that one has a choice of two heat settings, which adds to the versatility. The 200 watt element heats up quickly so one can use the implement almost as soon as it is plugged in. I heartily recommend the Stanley "Fat Max" professional glue gun. Well built, hardworking tool
Was tired of cheaper style and manufactured Hot Glue Guns. Found this product which suited my needs well, and the benefit of a timed cut-out if accidentally left on power, is priceless. A quick warm up time is also of great benefit. May not be as good as those as those $300 - $400 type guns, but so far has performed admirably. Very impressed with quality and design, except for I have issue with the trigger which traps glove on each pull! Other than that I am very impressed with the speed of heating up and readiness for use. The dual heat option is a very real bonus, much more so than I thought it could be. It does not drip during periods of disuse but is ready when you need it. All-In-All I think it is a really good hot glue gun. It is a pity that it doesn’t come fitted with a longer nozzle as standard, or have one included as a spare.Very impressed with quality and design, except for I have issue with the trigger which traps glove on each pull!
