The rod was poorly packaged and not labelled fragile. It was delivered broken. The seller took two days to reply to messages. When posted and sent confirmation I received a reply within an hour. Seller received the item via parcel force and says later I have still not received my refund. I would not recommend to ebayers. I am a long term user and this is poor and unsatisfactory.

Just feels right in my hand. Grip shape, weight and balance perfect for me, I know from 20+ years experience with an estwing hammer that the leather grip is hands down the best out there providing you look after it. This is the older model with the thin steel washer at the base of the handle I tried a newer version estwing with the thicker washer and in my opinion they are not as comfortable to hold, which is why I searched this one out. Just feels right in my hand.
