The rod was poorly packaged and not labelled fragile. It was delivered broken. The seller took two days to reply to messages. When posted and sent confirmation I received a reply within an hour. Seller received the item via parcel force and says later I have still not received my refund. I would not recommend to ebayers. I am a long term user and this is poor and unsatisfactory.

Best Cling film / foil cutter.
This type of cling film / foil hold is the best you could buy in my opinion. It is made mostly for the catering industry, but I got the smaller one (1000) you can hang it on the wall or put it on the counter top, and it fits in the cupboard. It takes a 12 in/30cm roll, that you can order in packs of 3. I've had lots of bad cutters over the years, so I'm so pleased to find one that works. I have brought 3 of these, my only gripe is as yet I can't get the baking paper for this size (12in/30cm), unless anyone has seen it any where for sale, if not I will have to hope a supermarket one will fit it!?This type of cling film / foil hold is the best you could buy in my opinion. To use economic film, the device has to be modified and this is not easy. Also the economic film rolls have to be reduced in length.

This will stand the test of time.
We bought the original of this product 16 years ago and have used it regularly up until Sept 2018 when it eventually fell to bits. The new one is identical to our original one with the exception that it has a cling film tube carrier mechanism at each end inside. This is because the suppliers want you to purchase cling film directly from the suppliers which fit this cutter perfectly. We always purchase standard supermarket film which didn't fit. Fortunately we still had our original plastic inserts which could be used so it was simply a matter of using pliers to remove the updated cling film tube carriers and inserting our old ones. The cutter I think is the best money can buy and our new one works perfectly. Needs adapter
I bought this item after seeing the mother in law with a similar item. It arrived on time and is good quality for the money but I did have to make an adaptor for the end of the shrink wrap tube that my wife buys from sainsbury because it was slightly to short to fit in the machine. I think you need to buy they're own refills to fit perfectly which could be quite expensive. Maybe with other refills it might work fine. Anyway now I've adapted it we are very happy. Please just bear this in mind.I bought this item after seeing the mother in law with a similar item.
