The item I ordered was no longer available, even after receiving confirmation from seller that it was being sent. To cover the inconvenience, the seller offered a premium package (same item I wanted, just more items included with it) for the same price as the single item.     Great device - as long as base is updated and wifi is strong

    No fault of the camera but set up was a bit tricky. We had to update our simplisafe base x 2 as we didn’t have it on the newest firmware. Then we had to update the camera. Then some issues because the wifi is a bit tricky for outdoor use. Our house is 4000 sq foot and camera was on garage at furthest point from router. We purchased a plug-in wifi signal booster from Amazon and now it works much better. Still a bit glitchy connectivity wise but on any home smaller than ours and in closer proximity to router it would work like a charm.

    Great view angles and easy install

    The field of view on these cameras is great. Sharp images, I can zoom in and back out easily. Super easy to install and integrate into my existing security system.

    It’s not as easy to install as they say it is.

    I like SimpliSafe and I already have some of their products. When I bought this wireless camera I was not aware that I would to buy a base station which matches this camera. There are many generations of base stations and now I have to determine which base I need.No info in the box either. Frustrating.
