    Yeah it said in the description that item was new but had never been opened so one should "...think before purchasing..." should've set alarms off for me. But the paintings looked okay and were in original packaging so...Anyway they are old and discolored around the edges were the packaging wrapped around. It should have been labeled as used in my open. Service was super. The paintings got here super fast and I assume that's what the shipping $ was spent on because packing was all recycled.

    In the "Item specifics" section it states "Features: Retired, Boxed, 3D Effect, Carvings" and in the "Item description from the seller" section he stated "Vintage 1990 Department 56 Bishops Oast House Figurine Christmas Decoration." No mention of NOT IN ORIGANAL BOX! A HUNGRY JACK BUTTERMILK WAFFLE box and the WRONG foam inner packing box was not what the term BOXED means, it is lucky it didn't get damaged in shipping. After days of communications the seller refuses to omit the above problem.
