Packaging too small
Due to the small packaging the floor mats were deformed especially on the edges. I let then lay flat for a day and tried to shape the edge creases back straight as much as possible. The Passat has elongated fasteners that turn to lock. The plastic lock disks that were in the floor mat are for a round opening. I had to remove the plastic discs and replace them with VW discs to fit and lock the mats in place. Great set of mats for an old Passat.
Love the mats - they look good, work well. My only issue is the hole in which the VW mat holder has and the floor mat have are not the same. So you need to make a modification to have them fit.
