Not briliant, even if it's cheap
Even though these can be found for quite cheap, the audio quality leaves a lot to be desired and has quite a loud hiss. The amp's non-existent power supply also means quite a lot of popping when audio or power is connected or disconnected, even if it's not being plugged into the speaker itself

Just about right.
I've been using a pair of QTX QR8K speakers of a friend for small gigs playing my ambient techno. The speakers are excellent for electronic music with sub-basses and crisp hi hats. So I bought my own pair. There is a low buzz from both but it doesn't get louder when the volume is turned up so I'll accept the buzz as normal for cheap pa speakers.
