Finally, a nailer that doesn't use separate gas cannisters or different batteries and chargers. Love the ease of use, although slightly heavier than the gas units but that's a small price to pay. 2 firing modes and a massive 63mm capacity for the bigger jobs. You get the usual Makita quality and reliability and runs off any Makita 18v LXT battery. My friend borrowed mine for a couple of days and he's changing his Bostitch nailer for one of these. If you're a Makita fan then this is perfect for you.

It would drive some nails fully home then some only 1/2 way in spent more time pulling out un driven nails

I chose the makita over the paslode 2nd fix due to not having to buy gas cartridges. If you're a makita fan, lie myself (40 yrs) then you'll always have extra batteries. It's a heavy piece of kit, but it's not a problem as I'm not doing architrave, skirting etc day in day out. Beats the hell out of humping a compressor, airline and nail gun everywhere! I give it 5⭐
