    strong model with an excellent finish.

    The tooling is more than a decade old but still the model represents the strength of tooling of Bachmann models at their best. At a price range of £50-60 second hand these are well worth buying and superior to many other models, including other Bachmann models in this price range, indeed with prices rising these could prove a good investment. No Scottish, LMS or Transpenine fan should be without one or two of these.
