seller packed well but US post office totally destroyed the box as well as the contents. seller very nice and I could see it was originally well packaged despite USPS, who will be sued, tried to blame the seller. Police report now exists against USPS and ebay informed. I got refund for item but not the loss of time and more and the loss of a true antique.. USPS has no excuse for destroying packages we entrust them with and pay them to deliver. .

The Bridge Between the Shock of 1 and the Awe of 2
Justice Vol. 2 is the bridge between the Shock of Volume 1 and the Awe of Vol. 2. One was really surprising with a genious set-up ending in a great cliff-hanger. Three is the action-packed and equally genious conclusion. To be quite honest, Vol. 2 is a bit of a valley between the peaks, necessary for the story as a whole, but not quite as rewarding a read as the others. For some reason, I found it harder to get a hold of than the others. Which is puzzling, because there is less action in it. (Maybe the other two went to more printings?) The bad guys are in control, as they took it in vol. 1. The good guys are re-grouping and getting ready for Vol. 3. The big events are the rescue of Superman by Captain Marvel (I have always known him as Shazam, but the DC die-hards are finally beginning to ... The big events are the rescue of Superman by Captain Marvel (I have always known him as Shazam, but the DC die-hards are finally beginning to rub off on me), Shazam's catching of an out-of-control Flash (extenuating circumstances: Flash was starving and, although Superman says he thinks that Flash always let him win in their previous races, he is able to catch both of them after Shazam knocks him down). Then there is the return of Green Lantern from oblivioun, with the help of a Stranger. His ring is able to detect and protect from Braniacs worms, thus giving the Super Friends some footing on which to make a comeback. Funny dialogue between Plastic Man and Elastic Man, and many big pictures of Hawk Man and Woman smashing Toy-Masters toys... So, its good. Not as good as 1 or 3, but then you really just cant have those two, can you? I like this book, but the cover is spectacular. The wrap-around cover almost makes it worth getting by itself. Oh yes, and the splash page of Hal Jordan recharging his ring and saying the Green Lantern corps Chant. You could totall just scan that and hang it on your wall. (if you are a nerd) How can you not like Alex Ross?
